He played Adonis Creed in the Creed series. Creed is the son of Apollo Creed, Rocky Balboa's former rival and friend.

He reprized his role as Creed in Creed II (2018) and Creed III (2023).

The new episode comes after host Ryan was criticized for his lack of empathy following a Wheel Of Fortune contestant's heartbreaking loss of $1 million, with some viewers claiming Pat Sajak would have handled the situation better.

The 49-year-old TV star, who has struggled to win over the game show's fans, angered critics over a recent episode of the show as he began his second week as host.

The latest controversy began when contestant Vivian made it to the bonus round to solve the question “What do you do?” Puzzle.

She took the bold step of choosing C, H, M and P as her consonants, with “I” being her vowel.

Ryan asked how the contestant was feeling before the reveal, to which she replied “nervous” as the letters lit up.

Vivian made her guesses to solve the puzzle as she said, “I ask for help, respond to help, find help, look for help, limit for help.”

However, she was unsuccessful as the buzzer sounded as the correct answer was “Offer to help”.

Then came the most heartbreaking moment when Ryan, smiling, opened the envelope and showed her that the prize was actually the coveted $1 million pot.

The participant was completely shocked as she placed her hands on her head.

Ryan smiled and continued to giggle as he said, “You were so close to a million dollars. You were almost there.”

One viewer expressed his displeasure by writing: “He needs to work on his empathy.” Lol yikes!! Can he even remember what it's like to not be rich?! lol oh Ryan.'

“American Idol” host Ryan officially took over from longtime host Pat in early September and was quickly criticized for not mentioning the former host by name after Pat exited after 40 years at the helm.

Now viewers are complaining about “overproduction” and “fake emotions” from the contestants, with some even questioning whether the players are “paid actors.”
